La Lingua nel Tempo | SMO Slovensko Multimedialno Okno

The history of the Slovenian language and its border dialects through the documents, figures and facts that have preserved and influenced it across the centuries. The video work, 21 minutes of live-painting and animation, accompanies a text by Prof. Ziva Gruden. This work is only a small part of what the newly inaugurated SMO museum in San Pietro al Natisone (Udine, Italy) offers to its visitors: an innovative space, designed by Arch. Donatella Ruttar (also coordinator of the whole project) that features multi-screen video installations, interactive audio galleries and multimedia libraries, alongside a vast variety of documents, sound and video files regarding the Slovenian minorities of the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia region.
