Cosimo Miorelli • CZM (Biella, Italy, 1986) is a Berlin-based visual artist. He explores and mixes diverse graphic storytelling media: illustration, live-painting, animation, comics and traditional painting. His research currently focuses on live performances and multimedia storytelling, including theatre productions and animated videos for film documentaries and museums. CZM has collaborated with musicians and authors such as Stefano Benni, Paolo Rumiz, RAF, Vincenzo Vasi, Giorgio Pacorig, Luigi Cinque, Badara Sek, Loris Vescovo, Saba Anglana, Fernando Mota, Giovanni Maier, Stefano Bechini, Fabrizio Nocci, Ivan Bert, Gup Alcaro, Giorgio Mirto, Leo Virgili, Susanna Boehm.
CZM has performed live and exhibited his works in art festivals, film festivals, comic/illustration conventions and exhibitions, art galleries, museums and theaters in Italy, Germany, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Portugal, Denmark and Belgium.
He often performs for private clients and organizations and has held workshops in high schools and universities. CZM’s illustrated books are published in Italy by Editori del Grifo.
